You will go through the history of Colorado Springs in an interactive, and entertaining way. Perfect especially for rising fourth graders that will be learning state history. Note, it is only open Wednesday-Saturday 10-5. We are from Washington DC and Rock Ledge Ranch seems like the Colorado version of Williamsburg to us.

Located immediately adjacent to Garden Of the Gods, Rock Ledge Ranch is a wonderful place for a stop of 2-4 hours. It's relatively inexpensive, particularly considering all you get. I began at the Indian settlement, perhaps the only let-down here.
