Dr WOODRUFF (Franklin) - Mr Deputy Speaker, Risdon Brook Dam is located near Risdon Vale on the eastern shore and was built in 1968 by the Metropolitan Water Board. It later became the responsibility of TasWater on the water authority's formation. That reservoir is set amongst beautiful scenic bushland and forms an important part of the Hobart water supply.
