Riordan Mansion is a great place to visit if you are interested in architecture and local history or just like looking at old houses. Otherwise, at $6/pp I’d skip it. The mansion (two large houses connected by a great room) was designed by Charles Whittlessey (Grand Canyon’s El Tovar) who was influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright.

To reach the Riordan Mansion State Historic Park from Phoenix, take Interstate 17 into Flagstaff until the highway turns into Milton Road. Turn right on Riordan Road. The park is at 409 Riordan Road, about two blocks on the right. If you are traveling on Interstate 40 into Flagstaff, exit 195 puts you northbound on Milton Road.
