The historical Idaho Centennial Carousel was acquired by Rexburg in 1952. It was engineered by Spillman Engineering in New York over 100 years ago. 3000 wooden carousels were produced during the Golden Ages, but less than 175 are still in operation today. The carousel is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day 12:00-7:00pm Monday -Saturday.

The Centennial Carousel. Located in Porter Park, this classic carrousel is the oldest in Idaho, and is one of less than a hundred turn-of-the-century wooden carousels still in operation. Rexburg Carousel Chorus. November 4, 2019 ·. Last night our favorite bass, Ron Wheeler passed away. His funeral will be on Saturday. We will miss him greatly. The funeral service location is at the Sunnyside Ward Church House. The address is 3721 Shadow Mountain Trail, Idaho Falls at 11 a.m. Wood Funeral home will be in charge of the services.
