FYI, Pullen Park, lake, carousel, rides etc are currently closed for major maintenance work. The aquatic center (pool), arts center etc are OPEN. Work expected to go through the summer, I believe, so check with the City of Raleigh before visiting the park. A good alternative, not far away, is Chavis park and pool.
