Race Point is part of the Cape Cod National Seashore. If you have time, walk to the nearby lighthouse, and look at the trails and the other beaches which are close by but better saved for another day. If you travel by car, you need to arrive early at Race Point, at least be 10 AM. If you rent or live nearby, consider biking instead.

Beautiful beach at the tip of Cape Cod, 15 minutes north or Provincetown. Sunsets are amazing. You can't drive to the lighthouse-- need an off terrain vehicle to get there. It's an additional 2 miles to get there. But beach is pretty spot on. See all photos from Wallace W. for Race Point Beach. Eric D. Elite 2021.

74 reviews of Race Point Beach "I like this beach a lot. It's big, clean and has good water. not much in big waves, but you can swim your ass off! Life guard, clean bathroom and lots of parking! You can also bike here from downtown, there are bike paths through the dunes and you feel like you are on the moon! it's cool."
