Oct 05, 2010 · Today I have received the parcel back with 2 red royal mail stickers on it. 1st one says a 'P739 Notice left on the 10th September - which I presume to mean the buyer wasn't in and they left a card. 2nd red sticker sasy 'Royal mail have been unable to deliver this item because.. and a tick next too 'not called for' dated the 29th September.

If we can’t deliver your mail or you don’t collect it, we hold on to mail at the Customer Service Point for 18 days (if we weren’t able to deliver it to you/not enough postage was paid) or 21 days (if a customs charge needs to be paid). After this time, we’ll see if there’s a return address on the item.

Feb 22, 2018 · Royal Mail actually have a department that tracks these people. security at royal mail. The parcels that do come back to us as Not Called For are normally for customers who forgot they ordered the item and they are delighted when we contact them and let them know what happened - we just repost at our expense.

Jul 26, 2011 · The red Royal Mail sticker has the box ticked again "We were unable to deliver this item because not called for". This is dated 18 July. This is dated 18 July. I am given to understand by reading postings on the internet that this is because it was returned to the delivery office (because no-one was in) and that no-one collected it from the delivery office.

Jan 07, 2013 · Re: "not called for" - No card was left 07 Jan 2013, 15:32 It's always worth telling customer services about it as there's no reason for you to be out of pocket if you and the sender have done what you should be doing and it's RM that have ballsed up.
