You'd be much better off taking the parcel in and sending it back recorded delivery so you can ensure they get it and you get a refund. when you refuse delivery of something, it's down to royal mail to return it. As they get no payment for this, they don't rush to do this so it will take 30 to 45 days to get back.

Nov 21, 2011 · When you refuse delivery of an order, how exactly does that work? Does the courier give you some kind of receipt showing you refused delivery? Do you have to pay return fees? I can imagine refusing an item and it going back on the truck but it later showing up as delivered and you'd have no recourse to prove you didn't have it.
