It's now 3pm and it isn't here. I've checked the royal mail tracker service and it says a delivery attempt was made but nobody was home. Nobody made that attempted delivery. I don't have a 'sorry you were out card' either. There is no way i've missed it.

And all this morning the message displayed on tracking page "it left our office and on its way" or something similar, now it says couldn't be delivered at 11:24 and 'a something for you card' should be there...
