If you are certain that all mails present in the queue are spam and want to get rid them then you can stop the Transport service and rename the queue database located below location: C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\TransportRoles\ data\Queue After renaming restart the transport service to create new queue database.

Feb 13, 2011 · Most mail went from Local Delivery to the routing group connector and was nicely delivered. But not all mail , still some mail will stuck in the Local Delivery Queue and end up with NDR. Doing a telnet again and still mail clocks up in the Local Delivery Queue on the 2003 server.

What we have noticed is that there are at times delivery problems between the routing group connector that is automatically configured when you add an exchange 2010 server to an existing 2003 domain. This was evident by checking the queue in the exchange 2003 server.

Jul 30, 2013 · luckily we were able to restore the exchange server and it worked fine until this morning. all of a sudden all inbound messages started getting stuck in the "local delivery" queue. all outbound mail seems to pass through without a problem.

Check the additional information for the queue where the mail is being blocked. Additional Information can be found on the bottom left corner of the exchange system manager.
