Royal Mail signed for item not delivered yet. I sent it signed for 2nd class on 9th July but it still hasn't arrived and the tracking just says it's still with them (on Royal Mail website). Buyer has been pretty understanding but is understandably getting annoyed now.

If the delivery driver delivered it to the wrong address you would hope that the customer would contact Hermes informing them of this.

You will need to make a claim on a P58 from the Post Office, but whether Royal Mail pay you the full value is another thing. I have sent 39 items Recorded Delivery (Signed For these days) since August 27th and 11 of them are not showing as being delivered and signed for, it is a joke.
