Jan 02, 2016 · Sometimes this datastore is unavailable for some short periods of time (sometimes seconds but sometimes minutes). Mar 13, 2014 · Consumer crash, redelivery and prefetch Hi, I'm having issues with consumer crash, redelivery and prefetch: The messages ack strategy I've chosen is to ack the message only after the consumer has finished working on the message. I need this because I cannot aford any lost message, even in case of consumer crash during the work on the message. ...

RabbitMQ metadata: >= 720 bytes, variable size, contains exchange, routing keys, message properties, persistence, redelivery status, etc. RabbitMQ message ordering structure: 16 bytes; Messages with a 1KB payload will use up 2KB of memory once attributes and metadata is factored in.

In high throughput scenarios, e.g. basic.reject or basic.nack, messages which belong to a mirrored queue and are replicated within a GM group, are quickly promoted to the old heap. This means that garbage collection happens only when the Erlang VM is under memory pressure, which might be too late. When a process is under pressure, garbage collection slows it down even further, to the point of ...

Like the other queue-based triggers for Azure Functions, the RabbitMQ trigger supports retries and deadletters. If an execution results in an exception, the message can be retried.
