Mar 07, 2002 · sendmail may have accustomed many of us to the 4th hour delivery warning. If a mail remains undelivered for the first four hours sendmail sends you a warning. Both postfix and qmail do not have this behaviour. However, if you do not get a bounce after 10 days, the mail is delivered, for sure.
