Sep 18, 2009. #2. The Military Comp Test is the way to go. Your military hours will not get you anything at this point without wings or a PPL. Upon graduation of Military Pilot Training you can take the Military Comp Test and you will be given your PPL Instrument and Commercial Ratings without having to take an FAA checkride/practical test.
