Nov 04, 2012 · I even got to see my engine run on there SIM tester. After purchasing the 22re, I bought a 350 vortec and a 4.7 dodge engine. All three engines are running perfect. I even got a curtesy call after buying the engines. I would recomend Poteat Engine Rebuilding. Dont know what that one guy is talking about, but seems to me he is a know it all.3.7/5(7)

You need cam bearings, plan on another $300. $1000-1500 for block work is par for the course. Knowing that, makes it kinda scary to think where corners are being cut on a $1500-1800 short block.
