There don't appear to be that many art museums in town, so it's an easy sell. I was a little surprised to learn that during the summer, it is only open to the public on Wednesdays.

The Plummer house was built by Dr. Henry Plummer who helped to start Mayo Clinic with the Mayo brothers. The house is a wonderful old Tudor style overlooking the city from the hill. It is a wonderful place to visit or rent for a party. It is not air conditioned but stays cool with the breeze being on the hill. The grounds are beautiful.
