Whoever told you 10,000 was really pushing the sale. I don’t know of any UHP DLP Lamp that is rated for 10,000 hours, unless we’re talking about under 100W output. Most are rated for 6000-7000 hours, but obviously your mileage can vary. I think on average a Philips lamp had about 1,000-1,500 hours more than the OSRAM lamps.
