Oct 23, 2017 · Although the area housing the Pergamon Altar is closed (thus reducing the time needed to see the full museum), much remains on view, including the glorious Ishtar Gate. I spent more than two hours in the Pergamon in 2015, and there are a lot of antiquities that are only marginally interesting to me, though I am generally quite slow in museums.
