The gallery is open March through early December; Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 am -5:00 pm; Sunday hours are 12:00 -5:00 pm. Visitors are welcome to walk through the grounds. Of special interest is the Craft House, one of the largest log structures in North Carolina.

Penland School of Craft. Penland School of Craft is an international craft education center dedicated to the creative life. Located in North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains, Penland offers total-immersion workshops in sixteen beautifully-equipped studios along with artist residencies, a gallery and visitors center, and community programs.
