One of Paris' true gems, not to be overlooked if you are in town for a few days. It is really two separate establishments under the same roof, a mosque and a tea room/patio. For €3 you tour a gorgeous mosque. So many lovely colorful tiled, a stunning courtyard with marble fountains, and a teal tiled walkway.

La Mosquee de Paris: Hours, Address, La Mosquee de Paris Reviews: 4/5. See all things to do. ... sweet mint tea in the courtyard. ... There is only one cold pool in the hottest room. I was a bit disappointed about that! Overall an interesting experience. Very authentic. Lovely outdoor cafe with Turkish pastries and mint tea.

The Café Maure de la Mosquée is open from 10am through to 11pm, although at certain times of the day and evening the place turns into more of a restaurant, serving full meals, rather than snacks. The prices are very reasonable with a pastry costing only around 2€ and the traditional mint tea is also only around 2€, which is rather exceptional for a cafe in Paris.

The Great Mosque of Paris is a place where I love to go, not to pray, but to walk (the mosque can be visited for 3€) or to drink mint tea. It is very beautiful: on the outside it is all white, and inside you enter a large clean room with a water basin in the middle and pretty, white columns all around.

The Paris mosque has the greatest tea room. Delicious mint tea and Coffees with attentive waiters walking around with trays of mint tea. They will provide coffee if you ask for it. A pastry case with really tasty and unusual pastries. Family members visited the mosque proper and said it was beautiful.

The Tea Room: Mint Tea and Pistachio Cookies The mosque’s several colorful indoor tea rooms are popular, though my favorite is definitely the leafy outdoor patio reminiscent of Granada, Spain. For two euro, a waiter will bring you a cup of Turkish coffee or mint tea, and you can wait in line for some Moroccan cookies flavored with pistachios ...

It has a patio surrounded by sculpted arcades, as in the Alhambra in Granada. The prayer room is a must-see for its intricate decoration and superb carpets. The Mosquée de Paris is also a place for rest and relaxation, with its hammam, restaurant, tearoom and shop reminiscent of a souk.

3. La Mosquée de Paris. The breathtaking tearoom at the Mosquée de Paris. Heading southward across the Seine and to the left bank, my third pick for wonderful tea in gorgeous surroundings is the salon de thé at the Grand Mosquée de Paris (Grand Mosque), nestled near Place Monge and the Jardin des Plantes in the Latin Quarter.
