It has an extensive selection for a new store and has super-friendly staff to help you with anything you may need. Their location is perfect for stopping in on the way back to the Bay Area from a Monterey dive trip.

We provide 2 tank dive trips daily Monday-Saturday. We dive mostly at the Catalina Islands, volcanic rock formations approx. 40 mins boat ride from the shore. Starting at 7.30am at our dive shop in Flamingo, for paperwork and equipment fittings, returning to shore around midday. The temperature in the North Pacific coast of Costa Rica ranges between 16-30ºC/60-86ºF depending on the time of year.

The snacks onboard after the dive consisted of some fruit, cookies, and wafers, and juice, just enough carbs you need after the swim. OVERALL IMPRESSION: Pacific Coast Dive Center deserves 4 stars for their efforts. If I had scuba dived only at 40 feet, I would be disappointed and rate the dive at 3 stars, so I’m just rating the snorkeling.

We were out for about 4 hours and they did two 40 minute dives. Steve was with them the entire time. They also provided food and water. This was such a fantastic experience and was the highlight of our holiday. We highly recommend Scuba Steve to anyone whether they are first time divers or experienced divers. It was a beautiful day! …
