    Jun 09, 2017 · @tannerchung. As much as you may prefer to keep it local, I agree with @hansen and SparkPost (or a similar service with a WordPress plugin) is what I’d recommend as well.. The main reason for this is because WordPress uses PHP’s mail function by default. The issue is that the function doesn’t authenticate anything for you and Postfix or Sendmail only acts as a relay.
