Sep 04, 2006 · Tesco advise to send by recorded delivery even though its freepost as they cannot refund the vouchers if lost. Although the form comes pre printed to fold over stick and post I have put it inside another envelope because its extremely flimsy and floppy but the address is actually to a PO BOX so how can anyone sign for something at a PO BOX?

OH and I have just received Default Notices from HFC. We are 2 yrs into DMP with CCCS. Have asked CCCS to send latest I&E and will write to HFC to advise them of this. The only address on the Default is a PO Box. If I send the letter Recorded Delivery, will it still be signed for?

I'd think so, the PO should leave a card in the PO Box saying there was a letter for them to sign for at the local PO, much the same as if they try and deliver one when no one's in a house and leave a card - so it might not get delivered next day, but should get there as long as they get the card.

Aug 22, 2010 · can only speak for my office but all specials that are addressed to a po box are allocated onto a 'B' code ( which stands for box) this basically means it has been allocated for delivery but only confirmed once the person has picked it up - it sounds like the system you were used to in the past - and is the correct way to allocate special deliveries to a po box

The address I used to send a letter to is a PO box address. However, it's an important letter so I opted for the "signed for, 1 st class delivery" by Royal Mail. On the tracker, it's been over 2 weeks now and it doesn't say any further than the post office I sent from and a "we've got it" at the top.. no confirmation of it received nor signed.
