Oct 03, 2011 · You should meet with the pediatrician or at least call the office to ask them their procedure. I deliver at G'town and my peds have privileges there so who ever is on calls comes in and checks the baby. They request that we do not have the hospital do the hep shot at birth also. Then we go in and see our doctor the morning after discharge.
