Looked in the phonebook and they live 1/2 a mile up the road. Contacted Parcelforce and they tried to get hold of the driver only to get 30min later he hasn't don't this area, so they are now finding who it was. Tried to phone the person and no reply. What a complete farce.

DHL once claimed on their online tracking that a delivery had been attempted on a sunday of a bank holiday weekend. Of course I was in at the time and no such delivery was attempted and no card left. They do this so they meet their delivery targets and don't have to refund the sender. It's a fraud, a criminal fraud since it's deliberate.

Nov 08, 2013 · I've been sat in my living room awaiting a delivery, saw the van park up outside and the driver write out the 'attempted to deliver' card as he walked down the path to the front door. I let him post it before opening the door and questioning why he hadn't rung the bell or knocked. He shrugged and admitted he was running late and needed to catch up.
