Allow plenty of time, the road leading to Orient Land Trust is unimproved (level, but bumpy, so a slow go). When you arrive park in the designated area and go to their Visitor Center. Sign in and they will give you a map and brochure. The hike up to the mine takes an hour (depending on how fast you walk) and it is all up hill.
