My query generates a list of all hours between the start and end time, filters out the hours that are outside working hours and then counts the remaining rows. Changing this to hours and partial hours should just be a case of replacing both instances of 1/24 with 1/24/60, then - as you say - dividing COUNT(*) by 60.
