After touring the Omaha Beach Cemetery Museum, we strolled along the walk at the top of the cliffs overlooking Omaha Beach. The beach was to our right and shrubs, trees, etc., were to our left. We rounded a corner and there they were. Over 9.000 white crosses/stars of David for those who died on this beach almost 70 years ago.
