The source of the hot springs is 100 degrees. Hot Spring Tips: Ogden Hot Springs is closed to the public but the water keeps flowing. Please someone go out there and rebuild.

Ogden Hot Springs (Closed) Back To Utah Hot Springs. This spring is located right off the Ogden Canyon road. These pools are man made and are fed by a hose from a concrete collection system. The water is extremely hot, so plan on taking a bucket so you can scoop cold water out of the river. The river is located right by the spring.

I can drive 1 hr to get to Crystal Hot springs, or an extra hour and half to go to Lava hot springs. Yes Lava Hot springs does not compare with Crystal hot springs. Lava Hot springs are very well maintained and prices justified. Plus the camping grounds from Lava Hot springs are really nice. So yes I will drive 2 1/2 hours for a good experience ...
