We were surprised how large Ocean Beach Park is. There is an Olympic size swimming pool (additional fee), a playground, amusement rides, a boardwalk, a pavilion and more. Not to mention a beautiful, sandy, clean beach! The beach water was shallow for several feet and we did not experience any high tides which made it perfect for swimming.

Ocean Beach Park in New London, CT is a fantastic place to visit. It has everything a beachgoer will enjoy. The beach is the largest in CT with a beautiful 1/2 mile boardwalk, playground and kids spray park, miniature golf, amusement rides, waterslide, Olympic sized pool, concession and entertainment throughout the whole summer.
