Oct 30, 2012 · I have users who are trying to use the delayed send feature of Outlook 2010. We have the delay period set to 10 minutes. The problem is that the messages are not sent after 10 minutes and in fact are not sent at all until a manual send (F9) is executed.

Sep 22, 2011 · The user is running Outlook 2007 and is not in cached mode and the user's email is left open at all times. All normal non-delayed emails are sending correctly. I have created a new profile for the user so far and that has not fixed the issue.

When you enable the Do not deliver before option to defer the delivery of a message, the message is deferred to the local Outbox, not to the server. Therefore, the message will not be delivered from the local .ost file unless Outlook is running when the message is scheduled to be delivered.

Sep 26, 2016 · I’ve sent out some really important emails and for these emails not only did I request Read Receipts, I also requested Delivery Receipts. I do this because Read Receipts aren’t sent until the recipient actually reads the message and even then, these Read Receipts can be cancelled by the recipient or can otherwise get “lost” as well.
