I seem to remember O2 doesn't support delivery reports even on phones that provide the option unless you use *0# - this might have changed, but that was certainly the case in 2005 - the built-in delivery report option on most phones did not work on O2

Nov 30, 2008 · If you are with O2 UK then the answer is no. They don't support traditional delivery reports. But when typing a new text message if you put *0# at the start of a message you will get a text based report back from O2. Don't forget to disable delivery reports or you will end up with a lot of "pendings" in your phone.
