Despite it's name, Nyack Beach State Park does not have a beach where you can swim but don't let that keep you from visiting this beautiful spot on the banks of the beautiful Hudson River. The park can be entered from the northern end of N. Broadway in Upper Nyack, NY, about a 35 minute drive north of the George Washington Bridge.

First, I'd like to say, the name is a misnomer. There's no beach as in put your feet in the water and swim beach. I'd rename it Nyack Waterfront State Park and the views are breathtaking. It's $8 per vehicle on the weekend at high season, free after 5 p.m. Free with the Empire pass. There is a decently sized parking lot.
