i would think most stores would be open until 9ish on Saturday - maybe even later for the larger food markets like Kam Man. Maybe those jewelry stalls/stores on Canal and Bowery would close 6-7ish. Night markets/shopping is the norm in Asia. Report inappropriate content. 3.

BTW, Manhattan Chinatown is not buzzing late like in a lot of places. Restaurants will be open but all the stores close 6-7ish except for the supermarkets. People with images of picturesque night markets - not the case here. Everything was shutting down around 6pm when I was down there last night. SuitcaseReady.com.
