Nut Tree in Vacaville, CA, is a a shopping center right off Interstate 80. It all started in 1921 as the Power Family's fruit stand. Over the years it expanded to a small airport, bakery, gift shop, restaurant, and children's 2 acre play park. Now that is mostly gone and currently is a modern retail shopping center.

If you remember the original Nut Tree, it is hard to see what has happened and been taken down. If you go to the new Nut Tree Plaza and view it as something new, without comparison to the original attraction, it is still a nice visit. The plaza has a park with various rides for the children.

Nut Tree Park. The old Nut Tree everyone remembers has been completely redone. The new Nut Tree is mostly stores, but tucked behind the stores is the Nut Tree Family Park. The original Nut Tree train has been restored and is open to ride all day (four tickets per person). Kids two and under are free on the train.
