Unlike Mont St-Michel, Notre Dame does not have opening hours reserved to worshipers so the hours are the same for tourists and worshipers and any tourist can walk into the church during mass. As noted in post # 1, the church (free entrance) opens at 8 every day but the Towers (admission fee) open at 10.
