The big deal is that I didn't want to have to leave my computer on for 10 or 11 hours at a time, just because MSE took that long to do a full scan! So after my last clean re-install of Windows 7, I decided to give Norton Internet Security 2010 a try instead and thankfully, I have experienced no problems whatsoever with that.

So I started a full scan last night after installation (don't know why I didn't have it already, its been on all my PC's and laptops before) and it's still running, going on 13+ hours, which I think the timing is wrong because I started the scan around this time, anywhere from 1am-3am, so thats weird too.

scan taking a long time, it is still running, 10+hours, do picture files afect it? I was surprised how long my scan was taking, it has been 10+ hours now. I have had the free version of windows 10 and have not had defender because I was using the free version of avast.
