Nomura is a great firm to work with in terms of salary,policies and infrastructure however, the management is very bad. Work life balance is not so good in Nomura and no compensation even if working hours gets extended to 13 hrs. Growth becomes very challenging even after great work because of partiality done by the management.

Nomura in the Americas is managed by mostly non-Japanese middle managers and a mix of Japanese & non-Japanese senior managers. While the organization on the whole is genuine in its desire to be a good corporate employer, middle management seems to kowtow to upper management in an effort to remain relevant all while running roughshod on the rank and file staff.

N/a. Vice President (Current Employee) - New York, NY - September 1, 2017. Nomura is a decent place to work with good benefits. Management could work towards building a long term strategy and sticking to it for a while. Uncertaintly in business plans and layoffs has affected employee morale.

@gargrajesh3 MNCs financial cos. like goldman sach,JP morgen,CS,MS,Nomura employees working from 12 noon to 2 am under work from home means direct benefit to cos.where less staff is doing work besides reccuring, transport electricity,expenses also saved,despite co. not giving good increment
