The refuge lies on the left bank (west) of the Nisqually River at her mouth. That is about eleven miles east of Olympia at exit 114 of I-5. Hours are sunrise to sunset and the fee is $3, well worth the price. It's easy to get to and affordable.

Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge is open to the public daily from sunrise to sunset. The trails are open only for walking; pets are not allowed. Bring your binoculars, spotting scope, and camera, and enjoy your visit!

Walking trails are open at Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge. Trails are open from sunrise to sunset seven days a week. Public access to the Visitor Center and Administration Building remains unavailable until further notice. All Federal passes including the America the Beautiful passes are unavailable at this time.
