1. 203. 997. 1/26/2020. 5 photos. Yes it is a very old facility but it is a fun place for the locals. There was a line out the door from the moment we entered and the moment we left. The only catch to the "Nickel" arcade is that you do have to pay $2.50 to even enter whether you are watching or playing.

This is a fun place to let the kids play. We have a range of ages, from 26 to 11 and we bought everyone a bag of nickels and they played for awhile. One $5 bag lasts about 45 min to an hour. The games were good, something for everyone. It was crazy crowded when we were there, but it was MLK weekend in a snowy climate.

36 reviews of Sandy Nickelcade Arcade "I almost gave it one star, but the kids really do love it. Me? Not a fan. It feels cramped and claustrophobic and the nickels really do go quickly. It also has a bit of a stuffy/smoky smell and an interesting clientele. I will say the food is cheap. I almost bought a large Diet Coke simply because it was only $1.50.
