Tours of Newgrange. Guided tours of the Newgrange and Knowth monuments start at the Brú na Bóinne Visitor Centre, there is no public access to the monuments unguided. Given the time to 'sign in', look at displays and then undertake the bus tour - one hour - allow at least 2 hours for your visit. The cafe was open. The bus tour took us to 2 tomb sights. There is no access into the Newgrange tomb and both sites are self tour (but guides are on hand and will answer questions).

Newgrange passgae tomb can be visited only by guided tours from Brú na Bóinne Visitors Centre. The tour is very interesting and well organized. OPENING HOURS : March 25th - April: Daily: 9:30 - 17:30; May: Daily: 9:00 - 18:30; June-Mid September: Daily: 9:00 -19:00
