Your baby still needs 11-12 hours of sleep at night and 3-4 hours during the day, but the total average sleep is right around 14 hours. Of course, by definition, some babies will need more and some will need less. If your baby needs less, developing a 3-month-old schedule is usually more difficult. Ideally, you’d keep your baby awake no longer than two hours at a time.

I go to him, pick him up, he stops immediately then falls to sleep on my shoulder within seconds. Put him back in his cot, ok for 5 minutes and the whole thing starts again. This goes on from 9am to 7pm. The only time he takes a nap at all is for 10-15 minutes in his buggy but that's only after a half hour of fighting and screaming.

Newborn stays awake for hours : NewParents

As it turns out from many conversations with the pediatrician, our newborn is one of the few newborns that don't require much sleep:( We dealt with him being constantly awake, save for one decent nap everyday for a couple of months. He was sleeping MAYBE 12-14 hours, and our Dr. assured us that in absence of any other issues, this is fine.

I don't get how you are claiming she was awake for 12 hours if she took 3 naps in that period. Lots of infants take short naps. I agree with others that it's probably growth spurt related. At this age baby's schedule will change constantly, you have to try to relax and go with the flow.

How Long Should Baby be Awake? - The Sleep Sense …

    https://sleepsense.net/how-long-should-baby-be-awake/
“Generally, newborns sleep about 8 to 9 hours in the daytime and about 8 hours at night. Most babies do not begin sleeping through the night (6 to 8 hours) without waking until at least 3 months of age, or until they weigh 12 to 13 pounds.” Piece of cake, right? 8 hours at night, and a few 3 hour naps during the day!

As they reach 8-9 months, 2h 45min – 3 hours might be more manageable, and by 12 months your baby could be managing an awake time of 3.5 – 4 hours in between their naps.
