Hi NESAD Alumni – I’m moving on from my position here at Suffolk at the end of the month to pursue other opportunities. It has been a pleasure getting to know many of you both as students and alumni. Please continue sharing your news and updates. You can use the “Contact the Editor” form or email [email protected].

Art & Design. As an art and design major at Suffolk University, you'll learn in small groups—in both studios and traditional classrooms—and enjoy personalized attention from dedicated professors who are also practicing artists and designers. These experts will bring their experience from their studios, galleries, and firms into every class.

Except at NESAD. Here at the New England School of Art and Design, 75 Arlington St., far away from Suffolk’s main campus, we do things a tad differently. Not only are our classes considerably longer than most of your typical four-credit courses (six hours per week, actually), we provide students with subs. Yes, substitute professors.

The seemingly endless hours of hard work that go into each piece of design are always worth the final product. Stephen Plummer, a graduate student at The New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University, learned this lesson while working as Editor in Chief at The Bridge, Bridgewater State’s literary journal.
