Please note. For twilight openings on the weekends of 27 & 28 Nov, 4 & 5 Dec, 11 &12 Dec, 18 &19 Dec plus Weds 22 & Thurs 23 Dec please note that last entry to the house is at 5pm with the house closing at 5.30pm. The shop and cafe are open until 6pm (last orders in the cafe 5.30pm). The garden is closed everyday at 4pm.

Every weekend from 27 Nov plus Weds 22 & Thurs 23rd Dec. House open until 5.30pm. We'll be staying open late during the festive season. Come and see the rooms lit for a Christmas celebration. Afterwards, listen to a local choir singing in the courtyard around our stunningly decorated Christmas tree.

This is a National Trust property with Arts and Crafts style décor built in the 1890s. The house features fine collections of ceramics, paintings, furniture, embroidery and textiles all from the Arts and Crafts period. During the week (outside of school holidays) between the hours of 11am and 1:30pm, admission to house is by timed 40 minute guided tour leaving every 20 minutes.
