I strongly recommend allowing for at least 4 hours to take in the entire experience, as three hours for our visit was not near enough to experience all that the museum offers. There are some nice surprise exhibits that give you a full on atomic experience, but I won't elaborate so as not to spoil the adventure!

392 reviews of National Atomic Testing Museum "This museum was the higlight of our trip to Vegas. We stayed an extra day past the convention to visit this museum. It is chock full of artifacts, information, interactive movie clips about America's atomic testing past. Many of the people working in this musem have been in Vegas (and surrounding areas) since the development of the A-bomb.

It takes at least 3 hours to go through, but unlike larger museums, you don't feel like you missed a lot of stuff afterwards, you feel like you got to see everything. Not a lot of interactivity, so not as good for little kids, or kids who don't like to read. Lots of parking. Easy to get to.
