But, the sign at the Rota galley clearly states that no food items are to be removed from the galley. It cites the Cdr and the regulation. I guess, and others may be able to explain the logic, the reason for this is that someone could "feed" a person not authorized to eat Navy chow or who is drawing rations in kind and should pay for the items.
