Jan 11, 2010 · HI, I awoke this morning to find that my left arm was all funny feeling like it was asleep. It stayed this way for 3+ hours. EKG was normal, chest x ray normal, cbc normal. The doc & nurlogistits best guess was that I slept on it funny, but the thing is that I don't sleep on that arm. I sleep on the other one.

Jan 27, 2008 · Happens more often in people with carpal tunnel syndrome, who already have median nerve compression issues. Not sure why it has persisted for so long - I'd talk to a doc if it keeps up. If it happens frequently when you wake up you might want to try sleeping in a wrist brace.
