So if he weighs 10lb (4.55kg) you would be giving him 25fl oz ( 750 mls) split over a whole day and night.

I wouldn't try to go longer between feeds yet, you have a growth spurt coming your way when baby will be feeding all the time, day and night. Just remember to trust your body and trust your baby…

Oct 01, 2017 · LittleWalrus 27/10/17. My 3 week old has marathon feeds, usually 1 hour (30 mins on each breast) but last night he started to feed for 1.5 hours and then 2 hours! My nipples are about to fall off. If I try and swaddle him and put him in his cot he wakes up and wants to be fed again. He feeds regularly every 3 hours.

I am just wondering when will it change. I was breast feeding only but it became so painful. I decided to pump instead but it’s like double work.
