Dec 17, 2007 · My daughter is now 3 months old. I just went through this. She was drinking 4 oz every 2 hours too! SHe has finally just slowed down. She was 11lbs at 2 weeks and 15lbs at 2 months. I was concerned also and had asked my pediatrician at her 2 month apt. He said let her eat. She is too young to hold back the food and she will be fine.

Totally normal. My son is 3 months old today and he eats every 1.5-2 hours during the day and only goes longer in between feedings during the night. Watch out for the 3 month growth spurt, it's a doozy!! Don't listen to what anyone tells you. He's right on track. It will even out when he's ready not when someone else thinks he should.

Jul 15, 2021 · At night, he'll sleep a 3 hour stretch and then he's up every 2 hours. During the day he'll nap either 40 minutes or 2 hours but when he is awake, he's eating every 1.5-2 hours. Seems like a lot to me. It sounds like a growth spurt. It should subside soon.
