If you are on a drive along the South Shore it is located on the main street. Although the Mug & Anchor is situate right on the water, with a wonderful view , the food is not the greatest. We ordered a cheese burger, ceasar salad and fish and chips.

The Mug & Anchor is a staple for my family and has been for a decade. Whenever we end up down visiting the south shore, we usually end up stopping in. The service can be bumpy (usually because they're busy) but it's always been friendly. I love the decor here, they find a nice balance between a maritime pub and an Ye Olde English style pub.
